When Milanese street artists Bo130 and Microbo published the list of artists invited to 2005's The Urban Edge, an exhibition that showcased the history of 2000s-era street art on a global scale, Italian artist Blu was an unfamiliar name to many of the international participants. The artist was only to achieve international notoriety over the following years, thanks to a number of walls he painted in Central and Latin America between 2006 and 2007 – a voyage documented by Lorenzo Fonda in Megunica – as well as through the stop-motion videos posted on his YouTube channel, “notblu”, and his role in organizing the Fame Festival in southern Italy.

Blu 2004-2007
documents these fundamental years in the artist's creative development, offering a wide-ranging view of both his graphic, pictorial production methods and the subjects at the centre of his attention. This copy is signed and numbered '67/200' by the artist.
