See Saw is the catalog of the first exhibition of Conor Harrington at Lazarides Gallery in London (Novembe 10th - December 23th 2006), which featured original portraits in a combination of oil and aerosol, as well as charcoal drawings. The term "See-saw" normally depicts a situation characterised by rapid, repeated changes from one state or position to another. Conor Harrington has described the themes behind this show as "a depiction of a lone figure swimming in a sea of abstract urban chaos. These pieces explore the transient aspect of graffiti, drawing parallels between these urban traces and human movement. The paintings embody two opposing elements – oil and aerosol, abstraction and representation, chaos and control, constantly see-sawing back and forth."
This copy of the catalog, which is signed and numbered (1/100), comes with a showcard that has on its backside the list and the prices of the artworks.
