Very Nearly Almost is a UK-based independent magazine printed quarterly which features interviews with some of the world’s best urban artists, illustrators and photographers. Launched in 2006, VNA tracks everything from the wheatpastes, paint and stencils out there on the streets through to gallery shows and events that bring together artists from around the world.

VNA 18 is fronted by the phenomenal Conor Harrington. Coinciding with his critically acclaimed sold-out show ‘Dead Meat’ at Lazarides, we teamed up with award-winning photographer Tamil Shanna for some truly special snaps from the heart of Conor’s East London studio. Along with our exclusive interview, it gives fans and soon-to-be-fans a unique insight into just what makes him tick.

Issue 18 includes exciting features on several other brilliant artists from around the world. We bring you big names like Berlin-based UK talent Mode 2, south London abstract artist Remi Rough as well as tattooist Shawn Barber. We delve into the crazy world of East London’s favourite German, Ronzo, chat broom calligraphy with Amsterdam graffiti legend Shoe, and finally head down under to quiz one of Australia’s finest exports, Shannon Crees. We’re also bringing you shots of street art and graffiti from around the world, with images from Rio, Sydney and of course our very own London town.
