Very Nearly Almost is a UK-based independent magazine printed quarterly which features interviews with some of the world’s best urban artists, illustrators and photographers. Launched in 2006, VNA tracks everything from the wheatpastes, paint and stencils out there on the streets through to gallery shows and events that bring together artists from around the world.
VNA 19 is fronted by the Australian luminary Anthony Lister. Regaling VNA with tales of debauchery and allowing us a glimpse into the inner workings of his mind and multiple personas, Lister provides an in-depth interview alongside exclusive shots of his Brisbane studio.
Issue 19 includes exciting features on several other artists from around the world, including quite a few artistic double acts. We bring you interviews with south coast photo-realism duo Best Ever, German brothers Low Bros as well as the ever popular NYC based twins How&Nosm. We also delve into the world of illustrative master Ken Taylor, muralists Remed and ECB plus Japanese-Australian fine artist Twoone and UK-based illustrator French. We will also be bringing you shots of street art and graffiti from around the world, with a focus on Newcastle, Reykjavik and of course our very own London town.
