Artwork by Eltono 29.7 x 21 cm 3 colors screenprint on Paper Rives Tradition 300g Edition of 30 copies, handsigned and numbered by the artist 2015
In October 2015, the artist Eltono took over Le Mur XIII in Paris with an in situ intervention that continued his explorations of form, color, and urban rule-based systems. On this occasion, he produced the screen print 33,333, published by Le Mur XIII and printed by Éditions Terrain Vague.
Inspired by the geometric composition of his mural, this print reinterprets his minimalist visual language in three colors, following a logic of calculated variation.
Eltono, a French artist based in Madrid, has been developing a public space-based practice since the late 1990s. Rejecting the spectacular aesthetics and overt signatures of traditional graffiti, he favors a discreet, algorithmic, and site-specific approach. His work—at the intersection of urban art, geometric abstraction, and generative protocols—challenges notions of control, participation, and perception.
