Belgian artist Jonas Cozone moves between graffiti, illustration, and a deep passion for sneakers. From his studio in Liége, he shares his influences — especially 90s hip-hop, with a particular focus on France — expressed through both music and fashion from that era.
We explore his early steps in illustration, following in the footsteps of his mother, a children’s book illustrator, as well as his working techniques and key comic book influences.
We also discuss graffiti, cartoons, video games, and his presence on social media — the freedom and strength it offers, along with the challenges that come with it.
