You may have noticed that finding new talent is the challenge we give ourselves at Graffiti Art. We raise the bar higher and higher to find a balance between the pleasure of finding a talent and that of meeting an idol. We've cracked: this issue, more than ever, is about our idols. This is our dream team: Revok, KR, Mode2, Vhils, Herakut, 36recyclab, and Arne Quinze. Artists with different styles, some working with major brands, others keep graffiti on the street; some have brilliantly crossed the same thing, so intrinsically linked that one could not do without the other.
With this passionate duality, urban contemporary artists earn their well-deserved status in the art market. This becomes apparent at this year's art fairs. One could, for instance, look forward to taking the Eurostar to Frieze and viewing the contents of the second edition of the promising Moniker Art Fair, dedicated to Urban Art. In Paris, the task is taken over by the inevitable FIAC and fair satellites. October and November are also good for visiting some of the more beautiful exhibitions the up-and-coming galleries are showing to round out the year. Some beautiful Christmas gifts are in sight... I'd like a Dran, please!
