Corpus Crispi is a narrative that unfolds from the realm of fairy tale to the edges of urban space. In response to a psychological crisis, Taïeb undertakes a form of self-healing through the creation of 139 text-based paintings, setting out to encounter the Mad Bird and its world. Through words and drawings, he invites us to join him on a journey of “brut-art therapy” aimed at exorcising his imaginary friend—“that bastard who decided to stick to his skin.”
