Repainting Subway Art is a fine art print created in collaboration with graffiti writer Tripl/Furious. The print was made on the occasion of the Patience group exhibition that opened in June 2024 at Colab Gallery in Weil in Rhein, Germany.
Tripl a.k.a. Furious, a Dutch graffiti writer who uses both aliases, started in 2013 with a challenging project: recreating all the train graffiti and photos from the legendary book Subway Art, down to the smallest detail. It took him 10 years to complete, but the result is a monumental tribute to the original writers and photographers. The print is based on the works featured on the cover of the original Subway Art book.
