The Spanish conceptual artist Santiago Serra is known for his radical and controversial works, which are very critical of society. Through Black Posters, an action taken since 2008 in different cities, he opposes, through the massive collage of black posters, a striking counterpoint to advertising messages that are omnipresent in the public space. This negation of the message nonetheless provokes reactions that are conducive to debate.
Santiago Sierra intervened in Besançon during Bien Urbain in june 2018, some collages are visible in this book.
