After 15 years of documentation, research and production on the Internet here on ILOVEGRAFFITI.DE, we have decided to print a format for the first time and return to our roots: the graffiti writer's BLACKBOOK.

In the pre-internet era of analog photography, the blackbook had a high status. It often contained the best designs, sketches, pieces and tags - a private portfolio. With digital photography and the transition to social media, a real blackbook became less and less relevant. This is one of the reasons why we want to bring back the established format as a counterpart to the seemingly endless graffiti overkill on the internet.

For the first BLACKBOOK we focus on the graffiti writer CRYE from Berlin (5MINUTES). Although he has been active since the early 2000s, he has never put much emphasis on sharing photos in publications or online. This allowed us to fill and compile a 128-pages hardcover book with over 350 exclusive photos. Besides a great interview with him, friends and mentors like SKUME, AZUR, JEPSY, BAS2, BLUE, FOTO SVEN, KALASH or QUER were invited to share their thoughts on CRYE and stylewriting.
