During the 80's it was a huge trend in graffiti culture to photocopy each others black book pages. In a pre-Internet era, this was a great way to spread styles and socialise while trading or selling each other photocopies. It was common for people to add their tags or stamp to the photocopies. They early days of getting cheap fame. This whole phenomenon happened all over the country, spread to other European countries and had a huge style influence on Dutch graffiti. This publication includes known and unknown writers and gives a good view of what went down during the Copycat days.
