“This issue is how my annual zine series got started. It was a present to the artists, whose works I admire, and also a present for friends, who supported me in my work over the last years. The idea was to show photos as big as possible without any kind of disruptive layout. The only rule for me was: all of the shots must have been taken within the respective year. The small edition of 50 copies was gone pretty fast and I received a consistently positive feedback.
The zine’s concept really got me hooked and an annual series evolved, both for past and upcoming years. The following issues have been officially published, while ‘2019’ was still missing up to now. I decided to fill that gap, having it reprinted and share it with a wider audience for the very first time.”

On 52 pages you can find some Berlin treasures you always wanted to see closely like hidden silver pieces by EXOT and DODGE, as well as full colour pieces by HEZHT, BARTO and SPAIR. Although recent works from Berlin were in focus for “2019”, also older stuff from LYTE can be found next to remaining traces of the infamous OZ (†) from Hamburg.
