September 2011. As I started working on my Graffalife publication projects with Eric, I picked him up by car. He had just moved to the Tonkin district in Villeurbanne. I didn't know where we were going. We took the ring road and passed once more in front of this immense building. 

I said him: "I see this spot since a long time, there are graffs up there, I would like to go to see." He answered me in the most simple way of the world: "Ha! Yes! The UC. It was the ground of Soune and Scale!"

I got surprised, but ultimately not so much. Maybe the surprise was that he never told me about it, or that nobody talked about this place. Basically, it's a forgotten story.
