Freshly landed in Paris from Japan, Yoshi Omori wants to become a photographer and starts shooting the famous wasteland of Stalingrad, starting point of the hip hop culture in France. Writers, future godfathers of rap (NTM, Assassin, Mc Solaar ...), breakers, DJ's with sound systems and vinyls, all the actors are still moving photographer. The first Public Enemy's concert in Paris, Roger's Nightclub Funk, breakdance contests, the first graffiti frescoes, silk teddys and Kangol bobs: in addition to synthesizing the birth of the movement through historical events, it's a whole atmosphere captured by the authors, for a trip in an environment that was able to mix artistic practices, create new codes and lay the foundations for a revolution that would soon be needed.
