After Party brings together a hundred or so French and Belgian nightclubs, filmed in broad daylight. These nightclubs, still in operation, are presented in a new light: the neon and other sultry attributes of the nocturnal atmosphere are replaced by a more standard, less glittering reality.
They then become fairly neutral buildings in suburban or rural areas, in the middle of an industrial zone or sugar beet fields. As Cinderella returns to reality, these party places, idealized by many teenagers, become empty. With humor and a touch of nostalgia, the series also pays tribute to the sometimes overdecorated designs and visual codes of these places.
This new edition includes a poster and some new images, published in a new format.
