In June 1989, on the rear wall of the convent of the Church of Sant’Antonio in Pisa, the great New York artist Keith Haring created the last public work of his life, the mural Tuttomondo. Keith Haring a Pisa - Cronaca di un murales recounts how the work was done as a way of honouring Haring and his mural, thought by many to be his spiritual testament.
This second edition has been supplemented with an overview of events and situations illustrating the relationship that has developed between the city of Pisa and the mural. They range from artistic offshoots to safeguarding measures, musical and multimedia happenings to the restoration project, up to the re-naming of the piazza where the mural is located in Haring’s honour.
