This book is the catalog of the retrospective exhibition of Mirko Reisser, better known as DAIM, at the Hangar 107 in Rouen from July 5th to September 4th, 2018.

The book, as the show, celebrates his 30-year career. It traces the evolution of a graffiti artist who is both essential and has made history, with his particular geometric and abstract approach to the letter, while being one of the pioneers of the 3D style.

Mirko Reisser’s works challenge our perception of the world and its limits, with their precise features and remarkable effects. By combining construction, deconstruction, complexity of forms and simplification of content, the artist plunge us at the same time into isolation, while sending an invitation to communicate, to withdraw ourselves from the world in order to come back better and stronger into it and decipher its mysteries.
