RustLife : La bible de la rouille came to life as a project in 2016, after seven years of hard work. The book tells us about a little-known and little-publicized discipline: freight train graffiti in France from 1990 until today. Through texts, photos and illustrations, the different actors of this movement share their work and passion for this unusual medium. In total, each reader will be able to discover around 3600 photos, 80 texts, as well as a dozen illustrations made especially for this project.
RustLife : La bible de la rouille is made of three different volumes, with 1100 pages that will eventually form a single work, although each volume can be read independently. Volume 1 is no longer available since 2019, while Volume 2 and 3 are almost sold out.
Please note that the book covers are entirely handmade and produced with an original - dusty and rusty - piece of freight tarp taken directly from trains.
