In the autumn of 1982, the first international hip-hop tour took place. The New York City Rap Tour focused on proselytising the emerging hip-hop culture in Europe. It  brought all of the hip-hop elements together—MCs, DJs,  B-boys and graffiti artists. The line-up consisted of DJ Afrika  Bambaataa, Fearless Four, Grand Mixer D.ST and the Infinity  Rappers, The Rock Steady Crew, FUTURA2000, DONDI, PHASE  2, FAB 5 FREDDY, RAMMELLZEE, and double-Dutch jump-rope  team the Fantastic Four. Together they toured Paris, Lyon, Belfort, Mulhouse, Strasbourg, London and Los Angeles
