Par Mornes et Ravines is an artistic journey through a crucial decade of Pierre Roy-Camille's work, from 2013 to 2023. The book represents a veritable visual treasure trove, detailing 70 of his paintings in an entirely new way.

Each of these works was scanned by Gilles Laurent at the I-Labo studio, using a prototype Cruse camera/scanner unique in France. This technology enabled to capture every detail, nuance and texture of these creations, preserving their true essence intact.

In Par Mornes et Ravines, you'll find double-page spreads of close-ups inviting you to plunge into the very heart of each canvas. You'll have the opportunity to explore the depth and richness of each natural motif, whether plants, clouds or stones, as well as the delicacy of the ornaments that blend harmoniously with the fabrics and embroidery.

The book is also enriched by the text of Natasha Boas, Ph.D., which sheds new critical light. Her words bring each painting to life, anchoring it in the artistic and social context of our time.
